Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-05-14T02:24Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-05-14T02:24:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: S19W89
Active Region Number: 13664
Note Keyword:
Ha: Bright emission (likely H-alpha emission)
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
PRM: Prominence material (filamentary structures)
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
EUVW: EUV Wave
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: Lopsided CME seen to the W in all coronagraphs. The CME front has an interesting point-shaped nose, but this is much fainter than the fain bright front which is somewhat lopsided to the S. Source is an X1.7 flare from AR 3664 which peaked at 2024-05-14T02:09Z, seen best in SDO AIA 131. Also observed as fast, wide opening field lines and small EUV wave in SDO AIA 171/193/211 starting around 2024-05-14T02:07Z.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Measurement made using the source of the X1.7 flare on or very near the limb, could be W85-W95. Triangulated well between SOHO and STEREO at longitude W95, but could vary some. |
